Description
Ghee is a cooking oil made by simmering butter for hours until all the moisture in the butter has evaporated. The remaining butterfat is then simmered further until the milk solids caramelize, and then filtered out – leaving a clear, golden liquid with a rich, nutty flavour and a higher smoke point compared to regular butter.
This recipe is made with butter that is sourced from Canadian farmers, through farmer-owned cooperatives. OG GHEE is deliciously caramelized, lactose free, and has a high smoke point (485F). This makes it exceptionally versatile for pretty much anything you use it for.
How to Use: OG GHEE can be used exactly as you would butter, or cooking oil. Substitute it 1:1 in your everyday cooking, baking and spreading applications.
