Choose live or dehydrated Organic Wheat Sourdough Starter, maintained with organic unbleached wheat (baker’s) flour from Wholegrain Milling. Creamy, custard-like texture, light cream colour, and tangy aroma with natural sour notes (vinegar, sour cream, subtle paint or nail polish aromas – all perfectly normal).

Rye Starter Details

Choose live or dehydrated Organic Rye Sourdough Starter, originating from Poland and re-born in Australia in 2014, maintained with organic whole rye flour from Wholegrain Milling. Thick, peanut-butter-like texture, light brown colour, and fruity aroma with notes of ripe grapes, green apple, and mild sweet vinegar.
